National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA)
Section 3141 of the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) is about people who were exposed to uranium mining or nuclear testing during the Cold War era – and who may have developed certain cancers and other serious diseases as a result of that exposure. While the NDAA did not amend Radiation Exposure Compensation Act (RECA), it did however establish a sense of the House and Senate to extend and expand RECA.
